Bundle storage system

The bundle storage system significantly simplifies material handling during loading and its transfer to the cross conveyor. It is particularly suitable for longer bar material, where frequent replenishment and the handling of larger bundles are required.

The operator loads a bundle into the storage system, from where it is gradually transferred to the downstream conveyor — manually or fully automatically. For heavier bundles, the line can be equipped with automatic bar separation by pneumatic arms.

Cross conveyor system

The cross conveyor aligns bars onto a roller conveyor, from which they are automatically transported into the cutting area of the saw — fully automated, without operator intervention. The design is tailored to the material and the loading method:

• gravity conveyor — simple, proven and cost-effective, mainly for round bars;
• chain conveyor — robust transport of materials with various cross-sections;
• pocket conveyor — for shaped profiles needing a defined orientation, and for square, rectangular or round material.
